Do you carry Dacor parts on the truck?
Common failure parts, yes. Less common Dacor-specific components are sometimes ordered in advance once we know your model.
Is my Dacor unit worth repairing?
Almost always. Most common faults are specific, repairable components rather than a sign the whole unit is failing.
Does my gas range need high-altitude conversion here?
Very likely, yes. Gas burners are jetted for a specific altitude band, and a range set up for sea level runs rich across the Front Range — yellow-tipping flames, soot on burner caps and pan bottoms, and a cooktop that never quite boils as fast as it should. Manufacturers supply high-altitude orifice kits for exactly this. Most units bought and installed locally are already converted, but appliances that moved with you from out of state frequently never were, and it is one of the first things we check on a cooking call.
How much does Dacor repair cost?
It depends heavily on the fault. We charge a flat diagnostic fee and give you an exact quote before starting any work — see
typical repair costs for a general sense of ranges.
Are you affiliated with Dacor?
No. SubZero Repair Denver is an independent repair company and is not affiliated in any way with Dacor or its distributors. We specialize exclusively in out-of-warranty repairs.
Is my Dacor unit still under manufacturer warranty?
If it is, repairs need to go through the manufacturer's authorized service network to preserve that coverage. We specialize in out-of-warranty repairs and can help you figure out which situation applies to your unit.
Do you offer a warranty on the repair?
Yes — every repair includes a written warranty of up to 1 year on the parts and labor performed.
